Nudie Jeans Repair Shop Chapel St

The Challenge

The brief for the store was to repurpose, integrate circular design solutions and create a new Re-use zone.

Our Approach

Integrating circular design solutions via a custom made sustainable denim tile finish made from old traded-in Nudie Jeans and construction waste which has been applied to the denim bar and wall fixtures. Developed in partnership with Nudie Jeans ANZ

Sustainability is at the core of the brand and to reflect this, repurposed elements, sustainable finishes and a sewing machine is built into the shopfront offering customers forever repairs. Additionally, a new zone was created in store dedicated to Re-use.

Materiality selection was crucial to continuing the sustainable ethos which included locally sourced hoop pine. Combined with integrating circular design solutions were key drivers coupled with repurposing the denim wall, shelving units and modified POS counter, thus reducing the environmental impact.
